Now you might think oh no.... Do I have to get another real time protection program for spyware??
The answer is simple: NO!
I recommend that you use Spywareblaster and keep it up-to-date! With Spywareblaster, from my experience, you will never get any Spyware, ONLY if you use FireFox and Recommended Add-ons as I told you earlier! SO yeah make sure that you keep it up-to-date.

Now if you are already infected with spyware already then I will recommend one of the followings:

You can get following emergency kit and use it for removing spyware! (No installation required)

Or you can get Spybot search and destroy (Portable version). You can only install and run it from memory stick ... it also offers real time protection but you don't really need that!

It also offers protection like Spywareblaster but based on my experience, it will slow down your internet connection and your PC therefore use Spywareblaster ONLY! Spybot protection will change your host file in Windows/system32/drivers/etc/hosts therefore if you have used the protection then you will need to disable it or reset your host file manually by opening the hosts file using text editor and deleting changes made by Spybot or Microsoft Fixit might be able to fix it for you. You could install Spybot in your PC, in a separate partition i.e. Drive D: or in a memory stick and use it as spyware scanning and removal tool.
Anti-spyware program that I personally recommend is:
