Speed up your PC using Following Simple Steps!

1. Get a proper anti-virus and anti-spyware protection for your PC such as Avast Free anti-virus (Highly recommended). http://safeworldwidewebsurfing.blogspot.co.uk/p/anti-viruses.html
2. Get a proper anti-spyware program that can remove spyware, trackers etc. by performing scans daily or weekly basis. http://safeworldwidewebsurfing.blogspot.co.uk/p/anti-spywares.html
3. Get an extra protection against spyware and malware etc by using Spywareblaster and Firefox as your browser. http://safeworldwidewebsurfing.blogspot.co.uk/p/anti-spywares.html
4. Get an anti-malware program to protect your PC against new malwares on the web. It is recommended to use Malwarebytes anti-malware. http://safeworldwidewebsurfing.blogspot.co.uk/p/anti-malwares_4.html
5. Make sure that your firewall is on at all times whether you are online or offline. It is recommended use at least windows firewall or better alternative such as Comodo Firewall. http://safeworldwidewebsurfing.blogspot.co.uk/p/firewalls.html
6. Protect your PCs at home using Free DNS services such as Norton DNS. http://safeworldwidewebsurfing.blogspot.co.uk/p/opendns-has-also-great-free-service-to.html
7. Uninstall programs that you do not use or rarely use such as toolbars, unwanted programs installed by PC manufacturer, Registry cleaners, speed up PC programs etc.
8. Make sure that your Windows and all your drivers are up-to-date. Check your PC manufacturer website for driver and bios updates regularly.
9. Perform Disc clean up and de-fragment regularly depending on your PC usage.

10. Use msconfig to disable unwanted programs at start up such as google update, itune helper etc..
11. Check your disc for errors if your PC has been used a lot or it is old.
12. Do not install programs that are not safe or you do not trust.
13. Make sure that all your programs are up-to-date such as adobe flash player, java, pdf readers, browser etc.
14. Use Foxit reader (portable version) instead of adobe reader.
15. Use 7zip portable version instead of winzip or winrar.
16. Use Wise disc cleaner and registry cleaner portable versions for further PC tune up.

18. Turn off unused windows features such as tablet pc, windows gadgets, windows media player (I use VLC media player portable version instead)and XPS related stuff if you do not use.

22. Run System File Checker through command prompt (Run it as admin) by typing sfc /scannow
23. Only install programs you need and use. Use custom installation and install your programs in different partition as much as you can. Leave drive C: alone. Create partition with reasonable amount of storage. For example if your hard drive space is 750 GB then around 80 GB should be enough for all your files and programs. Try not to install too many programs in drive C.
24. Save all your files in different partition, probably in same partition as your programs. Do not save any files in drive C and keep it clean at all time. Make sure that it is DE-fragmented.
25. Avoid saving too much files (Specially media files) on your PC. Save them as much as you can in External hard drive or use free online storage like Dropbox!!
26. Avoid installing and uninstalling too much during short period, this can cause your PC to slow down during start up and specially when shutting down.
27. Hide unused fonts (unnecessary fonts) from control panel to speed up your boot time.
